From 2014 through 2015, SM Hawaii provided the Hawaii State Department of Health strategic consulting for the rebranding and launch of this campaign to prevent the spread of Zika, Dengue, and Chikungunya.

As part of this project, we created educational materials that would be used to conduct community education across the state. As part of the toolkit created, we provided content for the state website, created a variety of out-of-home promotional materials, and created a tabletop display for each county. A community cleanup toolkit was also created to encourage communities to clean areas where mosquitoes breed as a way to reduce transmissions.

Hawaii became one of the states with the lowest reported cases of Zika during the 2015 epidemic of Zika across the US.
